Warranty terms
Validity
The following guarantee conditions apply to the companies ELIZZA Switzerland GmbH, ELIZZA Schmuck GmbH & Swiss Fine Design AG (hereinafter referred to as ELIZZA).
By purchasing a piece of jewellery from ELIZZA™, the customer has accepted the conditions of this guarantee without having to sign a guarantee agreement.
The guarantee is only valid for the future and is not offered for goods purchased before December 2019.
Scope
ELIZZA™ is pleased to offer its customers a lifetime warranty on jewelry in the engagement and wedding categories. Products must be purchased through the company of ELIZZA™.
The warranty and service policy for jewellery remains available to every customer who purchases from ELIZZA™ from the date of purchase. The offer is valid for all jewellery sold directly through the domain https://elizza.ch and all related sub-domains (hereinafter referred to as the ELIZZA™ website). The following conditions apply.
The guarantee is valid from the date on which the customer receives the goods for the first time.
The ELIZZA™ lifetime warranty covers the repair costs only for defects that are due to normal wear and tear, such as cleaning, rhodium plating and loose tines.
The guarantee does not cover the loss or theft of central stones. ELIZZA™ therefore recommends that each customer return the jewelry to ELIZZA™’s offices in order to check it properly and repair it if necessary.
Inspection and repair
When jewelry with a lifetime warranty is sent to the ELIZZA™ offices, it will only be checked by an ELIZZA™ jewelry expert who will decide whether repairs are necessary. If repairs are required that are not covered by the lifetime warranty, the company will contact the customer for permission before working on the piece.
The warranty does not cover partial or total loss or theft of the jewelry.
The warranty does not cover size adjustments.
If a defect is found, the jewellery must be returned to ELIZZA™ for inspection. ELIZZA™ alone will determine whether the defect is due to normal wear and tear or exceptional circumstances.
Any jewellery that has been altered in any way by a third party or without the authorisation of ELIZZA™ will lose the guarantee completely.
The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance from the customer to the ELIZZA™ offices. The guarantee covers the costs of shipping and insurance from the ELIZZA™ offices to the customer.
ELIZZA™ will not be liable for any costs, damages or losses incurred while the jewelry is not in the company’s possession. ELIZZA™ alone determines the best way to return the jewelry to the client.
If it is established that the jewellery has been damaged outside the guarantee period due to unusual or extreme wear or use, the customer will be obliged to pay for all repairs.
Due to the nature of jewelry, ELIZZA™ is not liable for damage to chains that break on pendants, necklaces and bracelets. ELIZZA™ is not liable for damage to earrings, nose rings or other body jewellery.
ELIZZA™ will notify the customer of any necessary repairs before carrying them out. ELIZZA™ will always inform the customer if the repair is not covered by the guarantee.

Size adjustment
The ring may only be adjusted at ELIZZA™.
Only ELIZZA™ will determine whether a ring can be resized.
Rings are adjusted within one and a half sizes, which are pulled up or down from their original size, unless ELIZZA™ determines at its own discretion that they can be adjusted beyond this limit.
A change in size will be charged. The cost of a size change will be determined by ELIZZA™ and will depend on the individual type and content of the ring. ELIZZA™ will inform the customer of the costs of the size change before implementation.
Any ring adapted by a third party without the approval of ELIZZA™ will automatically lose the guarantee and ELIZZA™ will not be responsible for any costs or damages incurred.
Service
ELIZZA™ offers inspection and reconditioning, including the coating of all jewellery. If necessary, ELIZZA™ will inform the customer about wearing parts that have deteriorated beyond repairability.
Liability
ELIZZA™ accepts no liability for jewellery that needs to be repaired or replaced due to normal or exceptional wear and tear.
